In October 2024, our community came together to provide support for the families affected by Hurricane Helene.

This year, we were able to expand our efforts to support those in need in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene. Our community came together to donate nearly 100 Build-a-Bears, thousands of school supplies, $1,500+ in gift cards, many backpacks, clothes, shoes, winter gear, cleaning supplies, Bibles, and many other items needed to help families find comfort and get back on their feet. All items were loaded up into a trailer and driven down to a donation warehouse in Newport, Tennessee. The staff and volunteers there were incredibly grateful and our story was even mentioned in the local news there! Thank you to everyone who came together to make these efforts so successful. The Bears4Children's team is still in awe of how the community came together to support this effort.
